The Tourism Student Association (HIMAPA) was officially founded on May 5, 2011, following The Rector’s Decree No. 528 of 2009, which established the Bachelor of Tourism Study Program. Initially, students of this study program were temporarily guided by their “older sibling,” KAMADIPA (Vocational Tourism Student Association). However, with the institutional separation between the Faculty and the Vocational School, HIMAPA was established to represent those in Bachelor Program. The establishment of HIMAPA aims to channel student aspirations and interests through work programs implemented in each management period.
Visi:
Realizing the Tourism Student Association as a unifying forum, promoting communicative nature and developing academic and non-academic potential for Tourism students who are inclusive, supportive, and optimizing high commitment.
Misi:
Creating a HIMAPA environment that is professional, transparent, and religious in nature.
Building a sense of family and belonging to one another.
Establishing a network of relationships and cooperation with partners and other organizations.
Making HIMAPA more active and useful in general.
Guided by its Vision and Missions that underlies every breath of HIMAPA, it strives to be more than just an inactive organization, aiming to navigate transformative changes in Indonesian tourism management for the prosperity of the Indonesian people.
