
Gadjah Mada Journal of Tourism Studies (GMJTS) has officially accredited by the Indonesian Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, achieving SINTA 4 accreditation. Based on the decision of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Number 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025, the accreditation is effective starting from Volume 4 Issue 2 of 2022.
This achievement marks a crucial milestone in the journey of GamaJTS as an academic publishing outlet committed to innovative research in the field of tourism. The Bachelor in Tourism Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Unversitas Gadjah Mada, extends its highest appreciation and gratitude to all parties who have supported and contributed to the development of this journal.
This accreditation is expected to not only strengthen the role of Gadjah Mada Journal of Tourism Studies in supporting the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education, particularly in research, but also represent the strong commitment of the Bachelor in Tourism Program at FIB UGM to expanding scientific contributions at national and international levels.
Furthermore, GamaJTS remains committed to supporting the agenda of sustainable development through the dissemination of research that aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. With this accreditation, it is hoped that more high-quality research in the field of tourism will contribute to the advancement of knowledge, industry practices, and the sustainability of the global community.
