Currently, the tourism industry demands not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills aligned with real-world needs. In support of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4: Quality Education and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, the Bachelor in Tourism at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) is committed not only to nurturing critically-minded individuals in the tourism sector but also to equipping students with hands-on experience through internship opportunities with industry partners. This initiative also contributes to the achievement of SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
As part of this ongoing effort, the Bachelor in Tourism UGM successfully held the 2025 Tourism Job Fair on 18 June 2025, at the Auditorium Room, Soegondo Building, Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) UGM.
